Miss White Spider Arts
Multidisciplinary Artist & Facilitator
Hi, I'm Al-Lisa.

I am a non-clinical art therapist and multidisciplinary artist based in the beautiful Fraser Valley—surrounded by vast open farmlands, rolling hills, towering cedar forests, and wild, untamed nature. My roots trace back to the Cariboo Chilcotin region, a place of majestic and diverse landscapes, timeless beauty, and my rich Secwepemc ancestral heritage.
With a deep passion for the arts and for teaching, I help people unlock their creative potential through engaging, fun, and restorative experiences. I believe the right hemisphere of our brain—the creative, intuitive side—is a powerful healer. In our Western world, we're often conditioned to rely heavily on the left brain for logic and order, leaving our creative selves undernourished. My work is about restoring that balance.
I facilitate spaces where people can reconnect with their creativity in surprising and empowering ways—guided by the muse that is the arts. Whether online or in person, I offer sessions for individuals and groups of all sizes, in schools, corporate settings, camps, communities, or even in the comfort of your own home.
In My Personal Practice
My personal artwork is deeply inspired by the natural world—its rhythms, its creatures, its mysteries. I seek to express the interconnectedness of all things: the seen and the unseen, the physical and the spiritual, the light and the shadow. Through my art, I aim to capture moments that exist beyond language.
